Day 24 - Cracked the 10 lb mark!!!!

Weigh In - Down 10.7!  (-1.3 from yesterday)
CRACKED THE 10lb Mark!!!!  WAHOO!!!!

Breakfast - Cheerios and 2% Milk
Snacking - Rice Krispie Treat
Lunch - Leftovers from the pizza masterpieces the other day.  No, I didn't eat pizza again.  I ate the rest of the toppings I had to cook to make the pizzas!  I had some mac & Cheese and a small portion of the buffalo grilled chicken that I had left.  This meal was more about portion control and $$ savings.  I really didn't go crazy with the amount AND it completely beats a slice of ziti pizza, a slice of BBQ chicken pizza, 4 garlic knots and a root beer, which is what i absolutely would have gotten at Dante's.  :-)
Dinner - So today was a streak-breaker, but first let's talk about how we got there.  It was our buddy Steve Kline's wake today and afterwards, a handful of Steve's close work colleagues and I went out for a drink afterwards to share a few more stories and just to get a few laughs after a rough evening.  I had initially planned on just grabbing a beer but everyone ordered dinner, and it was already 8pm and I had not eaten yet.  So I . . . . . for the first time since leaving the hospital . . . . . . bought my dinner.  Now typically, at Grant's in Dumont, we are absolutely positively going for my specialty - the meat lovers thin crust pizza with buffalo sauce.  Yup - Meatballs, sausage, bacon, pepperoni and ham all on a crispy bar pie with buffalo sauce to drop on the top as desired.  And I'd eat half of that pie by myself, that's for sure.  Look at this masterpiece:

INSTEAD, I ordered a bowl of chili. It was a very good bowl of chili with good chips to dip in it.  Very filling and rewarding as a meal.  Probably not nearly as healthy as something I'd eat at home, but definitely very much a better choice than I have EVER made there.

I also had 2 bud lites.

Now, I must say, I have a feeling the weight will be up a little bit tomorrow with the late meal and the beers and eating out, but its ok.  Its a marathon, not a race.
