Breakfast - 1st smoothie of the new year! It had 1 cup of trop 50, 3/4 cup of frozen strawberries and 3/4 of a banana. About 200 calories did the trick. It was quite good. I could not eat this as my breakfast every day, but I could do it 2x a week I think. :-)
Was planning on a mid morning snack, but never got around to it because I got busy. Straight to lunch!
LUNCH: Leftovers of my buffalo chicken from the crock pot on a bagel thin. 500 calories.
Snacks: Heading into my department meeting, I knew I'd need something if I wanted to get through this Atlas Mapping session so I tried these. Not bad! Actually was not too pumped after the first bite, but there were a lot of them and they were tasty. Just needed to get used to them. I was expecting them to be soft, but they are called CRUNCHY DOUBLE CHOCOLATE, so I'm not sure what I was thinking. 110 calories
Then - at the faculty meeting, there was a box of chips ahoy and a box of oreos. And of course, they were RIGHT NEXT TO ME! I did GREAT! Only had 1 of each - 50 calorie chocolate chip and 80 calorie oreo.
WHen I got home, I needed something else, so I had the Rice Krispie Treat. 90 calories.
DINNER TIME! Kristyn and I tag teamed to make stuffed peppers using ground turkey, spinach and tomato paste in a green pepper. 200 calories! This is a healthy dinner!!!!!
(pictured below is tomorrow's lunch!)
Post Dinner Snacking - I had 2 cheese and cracker snacks. Total of 300 calories. Why? Because I could. I have no other answer and I'm good with that! Oh yeah, and a frozen lemonade - 70 calories.
TOTAL: 1,600 calories
Money spending update: Went to Shoprite yesterday for the chicken and today for the shrimp, some more ground turkey, a replenish on Frank's Red Hot and extra peanut butter crackers for Joey. Brings the bill up to $208 so far. (still need to add in the Costco bill) $4 spent on the road yesterday :-(
Non-food spending - I grabbed a new scale today. Spent $51 on it, but I had a $50 from Christmas gift money, so it was not my money and I did not charge it! :-) I got some gas today with cash I had, which was $8 and yesterday on my drive to PA, Traci gave me the money for gas. What does that mean - I'm still Credit Card Free in twenty-nineteen!
Water Update - finished the gallon again today. I have been working on pacing myself. I've found that I actually finish the gallon really early if I don't watch myself. Problem with that is that it's supposed to help me stay away from the snacking, but if there is no water left, I will then snack! SO I need to find a way to pace myself without ending up leaving some at the end of the day. Working on it!
