Breakfast - 2 egg whites and 1 whole egg scrambled on white toast
Lunch - went over to Napoli in Nutley to get 2 slices of pizza in my travels.
Snacking - 2 pieces of yellow american cheese - this seems to be a new "go-to" for me.
Dinner - I forgot to eat dinner! Kristyn was out for awhile and I was with the kiddies. Was going to grill up some burgers but then it got late and Zelizo was coming over and I got busy working on some stuff for One More Once, so before I knew it, I had forgotten to eat dinner altogether!
Late Night - so I had been on a roll of watching most Yankee games from beginning to end but the past few weeks, I have not been doing as well. BUT this was the Red Sox/Yankees series so I wanted to make sure to watch. Zelizo came over and I had a TON of beer left over from the BBQ so in lieu of dinner, I ended up drinking a 6-pack of Bud Lite. It was entertaining. It's interesting because I actually have not really been drinking beer much at all the past year or so, but the past 2 weeks I feel like beer has been all around me. I think it's because when I was prepping for the BBQ, I realized not only how much beer was in my fridge already, but also the 5 extra cases I bought for last weekend! It was on my mind, so I have had a lot of it. This too shall pass.
Verizon Update - So the drama continued today with Verizon. I had to walk out of the Verizon Authorized Retailer on Wednesday before completely resolving my problem because I was late to teaching a lesson and instead of helping with my broken phone, they were more concerned with getting me on a new unlimited plan (which by the way is MUCH cheaper than it was when I tried to do that 6 months ago.) Anyway, so I went back to talk with them about last night's conversation with Asurion. This time, they called Asurion themselves and found out that basically due to the nature of the issue, that it should be Verizon who would consider replacing the phone due to a manufacturer's warranty. Only thing is that Authorized Dealers can not do that; only the corporate store can do this, so I took my ball and left again. This time, headed over to Verizon Corporate Store in Clifton. (btw, this is how I ended up at Napoli, since it was on the way!)
2:10pm - Walked in and told the worker that I had charged the phone all night - 12 hours - and only got 70% charge. (Which was an improvement since the 2 prior days, the phone had been charging for 4-6 hours 3 different timed and never charged at all!) He immediately retorted with the fact that I'm ruining my battery if I leave it charging all night so basically it was my fault, to which I asked him how the hell I should get my phone charged all the way if I can't leave it plugged in! We debated this for a minute and then he tried to convince me that my personal charger was no good. I replied by telling him that my charger at home, at work and in my car are all not working.
2:12pm - He tried to prove me wrong by putting my phone on a wireless charging station. In the 6 minutes it was plugged in, I did not gain even 1% and he said it should charge 1% per minute.
2:18pm - He hits a couple buttons on his tablet, asks me to confirm my mailing address and told me that a new phone would be at my house by tomorrow, no charge.
DONE!
JJVJ - 1, Verizon - 0
I only wish that the Yankee score was as successful . .. . . . . .
