Day 5 - The Honeymoon's Over

 Day 5 - The Honeymoon's Over

Starting Weight: -8.1lbs

So today was when the honeymoon ended.  Today is when the weight literally melting off my body would stop.  That's ok, a little jumpstart and now into reality.  That works for me.  Now for the real work, I guess.

Breakfast: The Yoozh . .. . . My home made breakfast sandwich.  Delicious as always.  I may start to consider alternating days where I have the bagel thin every other day to start cutting more of the carbs out.

Lunch: Leftovers #1 - The chicken stir fry from a couple days ago.  This reheated quite well and it was good to actually eat lunch in between the morning and afternoon sessions on a day where I had 2 PM remote sessions to teach.

Snacks: I had a handful of mini M&Ms and a big bowl of pretzels when I came home from work.  Amazing how pretzels can taste like a feast when you are not eating a lot of crap all day.

Fun Times: Got to play with the kids on the new swingset today.  They really love that thing!  So glad that it finally came!!!  And thanks to Grandpa for partially financing that purchase for/with us.  This thing's gonna get a TON of use.  Already has!!

Dinner: Leftovers #2 - The Chicken sausage and spaghetti squash.  This also reheated REALLY well.  I'm starting to really enjoy spaghetti squash, which is good because it's good for you but bad because it's not exactly cheap.

Snacks: I had a whole fruit ice pop for a snack.  These really are good.  Have I said that before?

Water Update: Finished the whole thing and definitely spread it out through the whole day.  Finished it in the 8th inning of the Yankee game.  It's good to keep it going all day instead of a race to finish it early.  Gave me something to eat/drink on the way home from Back to School Night and during the Yankee game.  The late night snacking is my enemy and one of the toughest things to crack, so having the water should help a lot.

I had no liquids today other than water.

Yankee Update: THey got back in it today.  In spite of my loyalty to Gary Sanchez, who I personally will give 1 more season to, if it's my choice, Kyle Higashioka basically saved the season last night blocking all of those pitches from Montgomery with men on 2nd and 3rd.  So I'm really glad he was behind the plate for this game yesterday.

Thanks for reading everyone!  I'll see you tomorrow.
